I am Drew Phillips, and the speech I chose for the effective leader is Nick Saban's speech on the methods he used to run one of the most successful organizations in history. Saban is typically viewed as one of the better coaches in college football and you can tell that people respect and value his efforts and opinions as a coach and leader. The reason I chose this speech and this leader is because it shows a highly valued and cherished leader speaks and motivates his team and how he formed such a strong and powerful roster mentally and physically, but also how he affected the people he leads as a whole. Saban isn’t only a respectable leader but his record is proof of his hard work and reliability. He also has many previous players and fellow coaches to vouch for him and his successes, he states that there are thing you need to do in order to achieve the success and it tends to be hard when things are going well, but that was how he stayed on the top of college football, by managing his team and continuing to grow rather than platowing. He talks about the required standards in order to keep good team chemistry and togetherness, and a team won’t be successful if they don’t do it. Howdy, my name is Mason Muchaw. The leader I chose is Tom Brady, he shows the true definition of what a leader should be. Tom Brady kind of has an underdog story, he was picked late in the draft and wasn't expected to do much in his career. Now he is known as one of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game. He shows the world that with real hard work and dedication anything is possible. I really like how he displays his leadership with his actions, he shows what it means to lead by example. He proves day in and day out that whatever work needs to be done he is going to be at the front of line doing it with his teammates. He sets a great example with all of the extra work he puts into his game and never falls short of doing the extra rep. Howdy! My name is Cameron Tackett, and the leader that I chose to talk about is Patrick Willis. Patrick Willis was the ultimate leader and motivator because of his relentless work ethic and deep passion for the game. He led by example both on and off the field, setting a high standard for his teammates with his commitment to the game. His ability to connect with others, rooted in his own experiences of overcoming a challenging childhood, allowed him to empathize with his teammates and inspire them to push them farther. Known for his intensity, Willis brought an infectious energy that motivated his team to always give their best. He combined this passion with a strong sense of accountability and humility, always putting the team first and accepting responsibility for his mistakes. Willis was both a vocal and a lead-by-example type of leader, often using his voice to rally teammates. His consistent excellence on the field, marked by seven Pro Bowl appearances and five First-Team All-Pro selections, earned him the trust and respect of his peers. Howdy, the leader that I chose is Tom Brady. I chose Brady because he is the greatest of all time. Throughout his entire career he was known for being a great leader. His story is truly one of a kind. Being buried on the depth chart while at Michigan, to being the greatest of all time. He lead his teams to win 7 Super Bowls. He is known for his accolades, relentless mindset, and being a winner. In this speech Brady talks about the underdog mindset. He leads by example. He was never unprepared for a game in his entire career. From being up late watching film to being the first one in the door he did whatever it took to win. It is hard to summarize his greatness but one story told by a former teammate of his does a good job. Howdy! My name is Isabella Nieto. I chose Derek Jeter not only because he is a legendary baseball player but because of how he gives back to communities in an inspiring way. Jeter spent his entire MLB career with the New York Yankees and was honored with induction into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2021. Selecting Jeter as a standout leader was an easy choice, though choosing just one video to showcase his impact was challenging given the many things he has done to show appreciation to different causes and communities. I decided to include two things that made me pick why I find him motivating. The first thing that truly sets Derek Jeter apart from others is his Turn 2 Foundation. Founded by Jeter, this initiative focuses on empowering high school students, particularly future athletes. The foundation’s mission is to foster academic excellence, promote healthy lifestyles, and educate young people about the risks of alcohol and substance abuse. Through this work, Jeter serves as a role model, inspiring the next generation to reach their full potential. Next, one of the biggest reasons I admire Derek Jeter so much is his dedication to showing support no matter where in the world it is. I was born and raised in Bakersfield, California, where my mom has worked at Hoffmann Hospice for over 18 years. She currently serves as the Director of Operations and plays a crucial role in human resources and marketing for Hoffmann. Hoffmann Hospice is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing care, comfort, and quality of life for individuals nearing the end of their lives. Each year, Hoffmann Hospice hosts its major fundraiser, "Voices of Inspiration," which features a guest speaker who shares their story and accomplishments. This event is crucial for raising funds that support the hospice’s mission and help families in the Bakersfield area. Last year, Derek Jeter was the keynote speaker. His willingness to travel distances to support a cause like this speaks volumes about his character and commitment to giving back. It truly reflects the kind of person and leader he is. The reason why I chose him is because, growing up in Sweden playing soccer, he is someone I looked up to a lot. Zlatan has always been someone who's created his own path to success and whoever has gotten in his way has had to deal with him and his personality. He is known for his strong and confident personality and it's something that has gotten him a lot of fans, but also a lot of haters. In this video, Zlatan is getting a thank you ceremony for his accomplishments with the Swedish National Team. While giving his speech, he called upon the younger generation to dare to dream big. He also told them that if they are scared to dream big, to lean on his journey and draw strength from it and finished by saying he is living proof that no dream is too big no matter where you're from. I liked this speech because he knows that a lot of Swedish kids look up to him and the way he spoke to the younger generation was very motivating.

Inky Johnson is a former football player for the Tennessee Volunteers. Inky suffered a devastating injury that caused him to lose functions in his right arm, getting rid of his opportunity to play football. Mr. Johnson became a motivational speaker and went on a journey to speak with sports teams around the world. Inky is an effective leader because he uses his own experiences and charisma to to help make others better. In the clip I chose, Inky Johnson explains the importance of team work and how success in Sport can be achieved through working as a unit. Inky Johnson is one of my favorite leaders because he is an elite communicator that has the ability to inspire others to become better men. Inky is a great leader because he has the experience, respect, and communication skills to make those around him better on and off the field.

Howdy, My name is Tommy Ball and the person I chose was JJ Watt. He has always been great on the field but he is also great off the field. One of my favorite things that he did was when he still played for Houston and he raised just under $42 million for the recovery from Hurricane Harvey. The clip I chose was JJ Watt saying some motivating things which gets me excited. I like that he talks about that one of the many great things in America is that you can do whatever you want to do if you put your mind to it. Something that I like watching JJ do is helping out the community because he loves doing it, not because he has to. Another great thing that he does is helps middle schooler get the resources to be able to play football.
