I chose this video because it truly touched my heart. It reminded me that my happiness and success in life are the results of my own choices. The decisions I make each day and the way I reflect on how I see myself are what shape who I am. In the video, Les Brown shares a powerful message that we were all created to be winners. He emphasizes that our circumstances do not define who we become and that our subconscious minds are filled with greatness. He even shares a personal example. Whenever he dreams, whether it is about sports or movies, he is always the star because that is how he sees himself in everything he does. Everyone, no matter their current circumstances in life should see themselves as a star of their own lives and have faith in themselves as to defy the life our short fallings in life and continually chase our greatness within ourselves.

Hello everyone, for this week's discussion on the topic of motivational video, I found this video on TikTok. In this 3 minute video, Sam gives so many helpful tips on being productive. They motivated me so much and I hope they motivate you and help you stay or begin to be productive. I have had so much trouble staying productive in the past, and as she stated in the video, starting off with small activities is already a big accomplishment. I was relieved to hear that I was not the only one that would get lazy and procrastinate or stay in bed and waste away my day. But I also know that this is not healthy behavior, and it can lead to me losing all motivation and not being successful. Starting off my day by making my bed and going for a walk has made me feel so good. I am going to take this girls advice, especially the down time advice and the leaving my phone in another room. Our phones are so addicting whether we like it or not, we are constantly using them. I hope that you can also find these tips helpful and motivational for a productive life!

https://youtu.be/RgiK5k0YlrA?si=3VBkUrCv-dBb6jsN Hi everyone! I chose this video because it reminded me how important our mindset is when it comes to becoming the best version of ourselves. One thing that stood out was the message about not letting small negative moments ruin your entire day. Growth starts when we stop complaining and start pushing forward. The video talked about sacrifice and how while everyone else might be heading home after work or class, you need to be the one staying late, putting in that extra work. That’s what sets you apart, and it really motivated me to work harder, because I always would compare myself to others with tons of free time. The biggest takeaway for me was that being comfortable with something means no progress is being made, we need to challenge ourselves, visualize growth, and protect our mindset. What we put in is what we get out, and thats how we become better people.

    Hello everyone,

I chose this video because whenever I question my worth, feel down, feel out of place, or feel like giving up I remember her words. Angelina Jolie reminds me everyday that there are women and children out there who are starving, sick, and have nothing but themselves. Yet I am in good health, have access to food, and have everything I need and still find myself complaining and being bitter. This video motivates me to do better for those who never got the chance. To helps those in need and to always be kind because we never know what people might be going through. I love this speech and it always gives me chills.

What Nobody Tells You About Your Twenties I chose this video for multiple reasons. This video caught my attention by the title itself, ‘What Nobody Tells You About Your Twenties’. This intrigued me as I have about 4 months left until I turn 20 years old, the beginning of my twenties. Livi Redden is the speaker in this Tedx Talks conference. Redden stated how young adults are the ones who should know about growth, mindfulness and emotions since our twenties is the time where we make important decisions of our lives. Redden has three core pillars to help young people have better emotional intelligence, better decision making skills and empathetic self guided growth. Learning about these three pillars was very motivating to reconstruct my mindset to have a better foundation for my future, for my life success.

I chose this video because it really made me think of my potential. I was always a doubtful person and I'm extremely afraid of failure to the point where I don't take chances I should because I felt as if I didn't deserve to. That there were others with better potential and would make me look like a joke, I never felt like I was on their level. This video makes me realize that I shouldn't do that because it will make me fail my way to success. It reminds me that I shouldn't doubt myself or let myself question other people's faith in me; instead, I should prove them wrong and turn myself into a better person.

https://youtu.be/egUJJcB5hoA?si=HxFxc5LRn8pbE89W Hello everyone! I chose the video "You Are Enough" for several reasons. In the society that we live in now and days there is a very high expectation of where you should be in life. I constantly stress that I am not doing enough because of those expectations. I have always feared failing and not living up to my highest potential. This video showed me that fear becomes your fuel and that you could reach anything that you put your mind to because you write the story of your life. It is okay to be afraid of what is gonna happen next because if you are not a little scared that means you are not playing big enough. This video gives me comfort in knowing that I am enough and that with hard work and dedication my future will be bright.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HhBNGdS5Kqk I chose this video because it really puts in perspective our life. As a Christian, I really enjoyed listening to the way he interpreted the Bible on how we should live our daily life. Life is too short to push things off to another day, it's too short to not fully live out your life in the best way possible. He mentions how important it is to have God in your life, "life is too short, and eternity is too long to live without God". I agree with that statements, everyone should always appreciate the life they were given on this beautiful world. Life is too short to stress about things as small as a midterm, seeing the world and being able to experience all the things that the world provides us is the only way to fully live your life.

I have chosen this clip for the reason that I relate to it most. I found this clip one day and thought it was very good for those who struggle with any form of body dysmorphia or eating disorder. Even those who struggle with suicidal tendencies. He talks about it all here and it really helps me. Since as he said, we have to be vulnerable sometimes to get the help we need.

I chose this video because it emphasizes the value of the effort and pursuit we take. Even if no one else notices your efforts, it’s worth so much in the eyes of Allah (God). The speaker reminds us that life isn’t just about chasing money, titles, or fame. True fulfillment comes from striving to be your best self, staying true to your values, and giving your best effort no matter what. It’s a reminder that our worth isn't measured by external success, but by the sincerity, discipline, and perseverance we put into our journey. It motivates me to stay focused on the bigger picture and to find meaning in the hard work itself, not just in the outcomes. At the end of the day, I know I will be rewarded for my effort as a muslim, so I will continue trying my best and wait patiently for the results because Allah (God) knows what is best for me.

Daniel Bryan Hello everyone, the motivational video I chose for this prompt was Daniel Bryan's "Monster" video. When I was a kid, I was a huge wrestling fan and Daniel Bryan was one of my favorite wrestlers. This video showcases his early beginnings becoming a wrestler, getting the love from fans, but also shows the struggle he encountered to get to the top. Being criticized as a "B+" player and looked down upon because of his height, Daniel Bryan struck me as an inspirational role model. No matter how much pain and backlash he got, he never wanted to let down his fanbase and supporters. This was a valuable video for me to watch as a kid because I learned to never let the words of others discourage me from accomplishing my goals. It should only fuel me to grow stronger and do better.

I chose this clip because David Goggins' message is incredibly powerful and resonates deeply with me. He emphasizes the importance of embracing discomfort and pushing through pain to achieve personal growth. His words inspire me to confront challenges head-on and not shy away from difficult situations. The video serves as a reminder that true strength comes from perseverance and mental resilience. Every time I watch it, I'm motivated to step out of my comfort zone and strive for excellence in all areas of my life.

I chose the video "Fight for Your Dreams" because it really motivated me to stay focused on my goals no matter how hard life gets. It reminds me that dreaming is not enough, you have to work hard, stay determined, and never give up even when you face setbacks. I liked how it talked about finding strength within yourself instead of waiting for motivation from others. It showed that challenges and failures are part of the journey and that they can actually make you stronger. I thought it was inspiring how it said that if you want something badly enough and are willing to sacrifice for it, you can achieve it with faith and perseverance. This video made me feel more confident about chasing my dreams and believing in myself even when things get tough.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TLKxdTmk-zc I chose this video because i find it motivating because it pushes you to realize that limits are mostly mental, not physical. He talks about the importance of embracing discomfort to truly grow stronger, which challenges the way many people approach adversity. Hearing about his personal transformations from struggling, broken person to an elite athlete shows that changes is possible with relentless efforts. He also stresses that motivation is temporary and true success comes from discipline and holding yourself accountable every day. He gives his raw honesty and intense energy to make you stop with excuses and to start pushing yourself.

    Hello guys,
For this assignment, I made this video of my family because my family is my motivation. As a kid, I never really had other people such as actors or characters that motivated me. They kept me entertained, yes, but I never really looked up to them. My family is the exception to that. They are who are there for me when I need a "pick me up" or when I need advice or simply anything. Anytime I question myself, I simply look back at videos of times like these with my family and get reminded why I do what I do. My Motivation

I picked the video “Watch This Everyday and Change Your Life – Denzel Washington Motivational Speech” because it really made me think about how important it is to take chances in life and not be scared of failing. Denzel talks about “falling forward,” meaning that even if we were to mess up, we’re still moving closer to success. Denzel Washington also says we should go after what we are passionate about and not be afraid to dream big, even if it means stepping out of our comfort zones. This speech reminded me that failing is just part of the process and it is nothing to be ashamed of, it is how we grow. Hearing his story made me feel more motivated to keep working hard and take risks to reach my goals, especially now that the semester is almost over. Hello Classmates, For this assignment I chose a video talking about how far someone's true efforts and desires can take them, as motivation. It depicts a fight between Buster Douglas, and Mike Tyson, and Buster Douglas has dreamed of beating Mike in a fight, and did not give up even after being almost knocked out. An inspiring quote from this video that will stick with me from now on, was "If it was easy, everyone would do it". I find that quote so realistic and true, certain efforts go unnoticed and can create your dreams come true essentially. After viewing everyone's comments for this assignment, and watching the video I chose, I felt more comfortable knowing there is so many people with different dreams or accomplishments they want to achieve in life and we are all fighting for it. https://youtu.be/UNQhuFL6CWg?si=rylkyLjEGsrhSNT3

Hello, my name is Angel Guerrero.
The video clip that I chose is of David Goggins called “ Stay Hard” because in this video, he represents the importance of mental toughness and self-discipline. He talks about not letting roadblocks get in our way and pushing through them like excuses and self-doubt. This motivates me especially during these stressful times of getting through the end of the semester. Especially when he talks about his tough early childhood with all of his extraordinary challenges. Reminding me that there are no shortcuts for achieving our goals and that we have to endure the process, and that we can learn to love the things we hate. This clip inspires me to keep pushing through and finish the semester off strong. I hope to adapt this mentally to other aspects into different things of my life to be able to achieve the goals that i want to achieve.

Hi everyone, the video that I choose is about Margaret Hamilton, who is known as the first NASA engineer, she had a large impact on the field of software engineering. This video highlights Margaret Hamilton's role in developing the software for the Apollo 11 mission. As the lead software engineer, she and her team created the code that allowed astronauts to land safely on the Moon. Her work was crucial during a critical moment when the onboard computer became overloaded, and her software allowed it to prioritize tasks and avoid mission failure. This story inspires me because it shows the impact that a person can make through their work and, for me, she serves as a model of what a great engineer should be. Margaret Hamilton's contributions laid the foundation for modern software engineering and continue to influence the field to this day. I chose this video because it reminds us that there is good in every situation we call “bad”. Even when things aren't going well, don’t let it get to you and instead find the good in that situation. There is always a better perspective you can have on things and you must always keep a positive mindset even when things get tough. Focusing on the good instead of letting the “bad” get to you, is also a way to do better and clap back from the situation. It’s important to always remember to stay grounded and focus on the positives which also helps build resilience and eventually lead you to success.

    Hello everyone!

For this week's motivational video, I decided to include Mathew McConaughey winning Best Actor at the 86th Academy Awards in 2014. What stood out to me about his speech and the reason I find it so motivational is the way he describes three attributes in his life, having someone to look up to, someone to look forward to, and someone to chase. The way he describes who his hero is has always till to this day stood out to me. In his case his hero is always “himself ten years from now”, continuously showing the maturity, one gains through life experiences and age, as well as relentless ambition. This invoked in me the idea that motivation does not consist of being perfect today, however it is the idea of always being open to becoming the best version we give of ourselves. Our journey is just commencing, every day that passes just assures us that we are a step closer to our greatest goals.

The video is inspiring because it speaks to the importance of persevering even when one feels overwhelmed by life. It reminds one that there are failures, there are setbacks along the way to success. The speaker's words are powerful words that resonate emotionally, and it is easy to relate to the message. There is heavy music and heavy visuals, but they are part of a buildup of energy and determination. Learning about resilience encourages people to struggle through their own failures. The message that pain and struggle are temporary but giving up forever is especially encouraging. Overall, the video reinstates hope and internal resilience when motivation is gone.

https://youtu.be/QkCa–fyGjA?si=12qPMDyRltL-9fGO I chose this video because it emphasizes that the real battle in life is not against others, but against ourselves. Against our own doubts, fears, and laziness. Personal accountability, pushing past excuses, and putting 100% of our effort into everyday are some takeaways. The video is pretty intense and emotional making it very motivating. I think it’s a powerful reminder that true strength comes from within. At the end of the day, all you have is yourself.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QTB1YiWxxKU This is the video that I find motivating. I chose this video because I am personally afraid of being a failure and being no where near my goal.Another one of my fears is wasting my time and having no progress. Just like the video mentions time goes by quick and you have to live them. I like how the video mentions that nothing is gonna get done by itself, you have to do it. This video makes me feel more motivated because it makes me want to do better and better b doing things that will make me reach closer to my goals.

    Hey guys,
For this assignment I chose a David Goggins video because i feel like he has motivated me and many more. He just doesn't motivate people in losing weight but also in general health and also how to improve in life. His words just mean a lot when you are in a bad position in life and make you realize that life is worth living and you can always better yourself. For me personally he has helped me with my gym and weight loss journey that I'm currently on. Here is the vid.
